The US lawmaker wrote, "Whereas, I am told that the State Department has reportedly put a moratorium on the approval of Masood Khan as the new ambassador from Pakistan, but the restraint is not enough. I urge you to reject any diplomatic certificate submitted by Masood Khan and reject any attempt by the Government of Pakistan to install this jihadi as Pakistan's ambassador to the United States of America." 

US MP reminds India's interest

He said Imran Khan has been nominated by the government to "a true terrorist sympathizer working to undermine our interests in the region - as well as the security of our Indian allies". The US lawmaker said that this decision of Pakistan is related to Islamabad's constant contempt for America. Perry said, "Imran Khan has praised both terrorists and foreign terrorist organizations, including Hizbul Mujahideen. He encouraged youth to emulate jihadis like Burhan Wani, the former Hizbul Mujahideen commander who waged war against India. "

He said, “In 2010, Afiya Siddiqui was convicted of attempted murder of American soldiers. Since then, jihadis have regularly demanded his release."
